'Making A Murderer' Has Inspired A New Rock Song

All proceeds from 'Lake Superior' will benefit the Innocence Project.

After you're done binging "Making A Murderer" on Netflix, what's the next logical step? Tearing your hair out? Booking a flight to Wisconsin? Quitting your job and dedicating your life to ridding society of injustice??

Maybe. But if you're Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, you make a song.

Auerbach's other band, The Arcs, have shared "Lake Superior," a track inspired by "Making A Murderer." All proceeds will be donated to the Innocence Project, a nonprofit "dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals."

"It's like Billy Childish says, 'We live in troubled times,'" Auerbach wrote on Soundcloud. "Last week, we got a sneak peek at what goes on behind the curtains of our criminal justice system. A few sleepless nights later we gathered in the studio and wrote this song. Written, recorded, mixed and mastered in 2 days."

Rock stars: They're just like us.
