Vin Diesel promised himself he wouldn’t get emotional at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (Jan. 6), but alas, he couldn’t hold it back when they awarded “Fast 7” with Favorite Action Movie and one for Favorite Movie.
Just as he’s done at least twice before, Diesel broke out into Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” while accepting the awards for the film — in memory of his late co-star Paul Walker.

“I was cool while I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards, one for Favorite Action Movie and one for Favorite Film. You all thought this was your favorite film,” Vin said onstage, holding out two trophies. “I think of Dom and Brian, and I start to think of Paul.”
Diesel then went on thank fans for voting for “Furious 7,” and then broke into song. Shortly after, he was played off by CBS’ producers.
Diesel sang “See You Again” for Walker for the first time at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.
And then he sang it again during an interview.
“See You Again” is nominated for a prize at the 2016 Golden Globes, which will air on Sunday. Who knows if it’ll have another awards show moment then…
