The monkey — Julius, for those familiar enough — was ubiquitous in the early 2000s, appearing on practically all of the brand’s products. While Julius’ face remained largely unchanged, different products featured different character iterations, ranging from the devil to a sailor. Collecting the various products and characters was wildly popular in the early 2000s, but eventually the recognizable logos of other brands like Von Dutch became more desirable.
