Ariana Grande Joins Rihanna's Quest To Bring Back 2000s Fashion

Between her love of denim skirts, Juicy Couture sweatsuits, and JNCO Jeans, we've already established that Rihanna is going to be responsible for the return of 2000s trends, whether we like it or not. It has recently come to our attention, though, that she has a co-conspirator—one Ariana Grande.

Monday night (Jan. 4), Ariana shared a video on Snapchat in which she is wearing a onesie featuring a familiar monkey. A smiling monkey we haven't seen in years. The Paul Frank monkey. Yes, in the year 2016.

The monkey -- Julius, for those familiar enough -- was ubiquitous in the early 2000s, appearing on practically all of the brand's products. While Julius' face remained largely unchanged, different products featured different character iterations, ranging from the devil to a sailor. Collecting the various products and characters was wildly popular in the early 2000s, but eventually the recognizable logos of other brands like Von Dutch became more desirable.

Ariana, though, is here to remind us of what we were into in the early 2000s. If seeing Julius' li'l face made you feel a tinge of nostalgia, you can cop the same onesie on Paul Frank's website.
