After a standoff with the Charlottesville, Virginia Police Department, law enforcement officials arrested social media personality Bryan Silva on Sunday (Jan. 4). The 25-year-old Silva, who's known for some bizarre, cringe-worthy attempts at humor on Vine, has been "charged with abduction and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon," Newsplex reports.
Earlier Sunday morning, police received a call that ultimately lead them to Silva's home, where he was allegedly holding a yet-to-be identified 17-year-old girl against her will.
"It was a domestic disturbance," Police Chief Tim Longo told reporters at a press conference. "A female caller said that she was threatened with a fire arm, we responded and began an investigation."
The 17-year-old, purportedly Silva's girlfriend, told police that Silva had "threatened her with a handgun," and that "he had threatened to shoot the police," Newsplex reports.
Silva, who claims to be a bodybuilder, porn star and rapper, uploaded pictures to his Facebook while involved in the standoff with police. Because reasons.
It's not Silva's first run-in with the law: In an interview with Complex, the Viner said that he'd been "locked up for three years" for "breaking and entering" and "hitting [his] school principal."
