Did Birdman And Lil Wayne Finally Squash Their Beef?

A New Year's Instagram post may point to the answer.

One of the most talked-about musical feuds in 2015 -- and there were certainly a lot of them -- was the ever-evolving drama between Lil Wayne and Birdman, which began when Weezy tweeted that he felt like "a prisoner" on the Cash Money label back in 2014.

Since then, the beef has gradually ebbed and flowed between prolonged litigation (Wayne sued Cash Money, then got sued by his own lawyers for unpaid fees) and even incidents of violence (a shooting at Wayne's tour bus).

But the two may have made amends, if one Instagram photo taken on New Year's Eve is any indiction.

Birdman posted a pleasant family photo of the Cash Money crew celebrating on New Year's Eve -- a group shot that also features Weezy and Drake.

It's worth noting that Wayne hasn't re-grammed the pic on his own account, nor has he said anything about the reunion on Twitter, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. And neither does this picture, for that matter. The circumstances of the reunion seem to involve the CM crew partying at an event where Drake performed -- Mack Maine posted a similar pic with the caption "United We Stand Divided We Fall!! #AubreyJustFinishedPerforming" -- and that's all we know. For now.

2016 may be the year the beef officially gets squashed. But as it stands right now, all we know is that Birdman and Lil Wayne posed for a few photos together...that eight other people also posed for.
