Make Your New Year's Great Like BB-8

Before the ball drops, let the ball droid show you how it's done.

2015 has been an incredible year, but no one (or thing) has had a better time than the adorable ball droid BB-8 from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." He's landed magazine covers, been the hot toy of the season, and was lead actor in the biggest movie of the year (and maybe of all time).

So who better to look to for advice on how to ring in the New Year's right than Poe Dameron's BFF? With that in mind, here's 6 New Year's Eve tips you can take from BB-8 to make your night great.

  • Spend time with your BFF

They're the one who was there for you in 2015, and will be there in 2016, too -- even if you end up getting lost on an alien planet and they mysteriously stop looking for you after their ship crashes.

  • Don't be afraid to make friends.

Even if your BFF isn't around, it's always a good idea to meet new people as you head into a new year. Hey, maybe they'll end up taking you on some incredible adventures!

  • Always carry a lighter.

Not that we approve of smoking, but you never know when one might come in handy.

  • Be cautious!
    Disney/Lucasfilm

People tend to get a little crazy on New Year's, so always be cautious and scope out the scene before you commit to hanging there for the night!

  • It's always nice to go to a party with a lot of chicks.

    ...Get it?

  • If things go badly, just roll on out of there.

No need to stay in a dangerous/toxic situation... If your New Year's party gets out of control, feel free to get on out of there! New Year's is all about you heading into 2016 happy and healthy.
