Wiz Khalifa Is About To Start 2016 With A Major Treat For Fans

Project Khalifa is slated to drop in January.

2015 was already a tremendous year for Wiz Khalifa with his "Boys of Zummer" tour with Fall Out Boy and the smash success of "See You Again," the Grammy- and Golden Globe-nominated track from the "Furious 7" soundtrack. Now, Wiz is eager to kick off 2016 with a bang.

On Saturday, Wiz dropped a video message to his Taylor Gang fans promising a new release set for January 2016. Titled Project Khalifa, this new release is neither a mixtape nor an album and will feature previously unreleased tracks. Wiz also promises the eventual release of his sixth album, Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album, for sometime in 2016. 2016 can't come soon enough!
