Radiohead Releases Their Rejected Theme For 'Spectre'

Merry Christmas from Radiohead.

It's a very merry Christmas from Radiohead. Frontman Thom Yorke took to Twitter today to release the song that was almost the theme for the latest James Bond film "Spectre."

Thom explained that the band was asked to record the song for the movie, but for whatever reason, it didn't make the cut. The theme for the film ended up being Sam Smith's "Writings on the Wall," which hit number one on the U.K.’s Official Singles chart faster than any other song for the franchise.

You can check out Radiohead's unused theme here and spend the rest of Christmas imagining what could have been.
