50 Cent Sues Rick Ross For Rapping Over ‘In Da Club’

Fif's lawyers are seeking $2 million.

50 Cent is suing Rick Ross for rapping over “In Da Club” on his free Renzel Remixes mixtape.

The G-Unit General's lawyers filed the lawsuit on Wednesday, Dec. 23, according to The Wall Street Journal. They claim Rozay unlawfully used Fif’s name and identity to sell his latest album, Black Market (the tape was released just weeks prior to the album). 50’s reportedly seeking $2 million in damages.

Fans may find this puzzling since 50 helped push his own career by rapping over other MCs’ beats for more than a decade now. Just last year, in fact, Fif and his G-Unit crew famously rhymed over Drake’s “0-100.”

But perhaps this shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Ross and 50 have been involved in an ongoing feud for many years, one that’s included disses and a sex tape lawsuit.

It looks like this beef is far from over.
