Arcade Fire's 'Reflektor' Video Drops Monday

Arcade Fire gave us another clue to the mystery that is their upcoming album this week when music video director/photographer Anton Corbijn revealed that he directed the video for a track called "Reflektor," the video for which drops on September 9.

We knew that something was primed to happen on September 9, thanks to an Instagram account titled "Reflektor" tied to the band that shared images indicating as much.

Now, however, we know that what will be shared on September 9 at 9 p.m. ET is the video for the first single off of the record, titled "Reflektor." The video was directed by Corbijn, who also directed the video for Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box."

“I’m working on a really great song at the moment: Arcade Fire’s new single,” Corbijn told The Daily Beast.  “The song is called ‘Reflektor,’ and you’ll be able to see it Monday evening.” He declined, however, to go into too much detail, saying, “I can’t say much more than that, because it’s all a surprise.... You’ll have to watch the TV Monday evening.”

In the meantime, Arcade Fire has posted a teaser to their site, so perhaps we can expect more of that fuzzed-out grandeur come Monday. The album, which still doesn't have a name, drops on October 29.
