In the new animated series Rock Stories by Matt Pinfield for MTV (Other), the veteran VJ recalls some of the wildest things he's witnessed during his career and some of the best stories he's been told. In one particularly vivid episode, titled "Drummers in Pound Town," he recants "The Playboy Mansion Incident," wherein he found himself at Hugh Hefner's abode to celebrate the Song of the Year, which was, incidentally, Limp Bizkit's "Nookie." Amid hobnobbing with Leonardo DiCaprio and a very drunk Bill Maher -- who all were wearing pajamas -- he found himself in need of a bathroom. But it's what he found on the way to the bathroom that earned this episode its title. You'll have to watch the video to find out just what "Drummers in Pound Town" means.
Each episode was created by a different animator and has its own distinct style, which comes in handy with the wide variety of stories Pinfield tells. The other installments find the VJ illustriously recalling the time he and Bono got dysentery, Kurt Cobain's proclivity for pornographic graffiti and Chrissie Hynde and Sid Vicious' failed marriage attempt, as well as stories about the Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Muse and more.
