A few weeks ago, Janelle Monáe re-emerged with "Q.U.E.E.N.," a slick and funky new song about empowerment that featured Erykah Badu. BET's 106 and Park premiered the video for it, it's a very sterile look into the future that may or may not be a sly critique on the future of art. Patrons visit a museum where Monáe and Badu are part of an exhibit called Project Q.U.E.E.N., a 21st century "musical weapons program." Naturally, the exhibit comes to life because they just needed to dance, and no stiff museum is going to hold them down.
