Houses Drift Into Loneliness on Easy Girl's Remix of "The Beauty Surrounds"

"The Beauty Surrounds" is the lead single off of Houses' new album A Quiet Darkness and on this remix from Easy Girl, the LA producer takes the lush original and flips into something a bit darker. Which is exactly what Houses' Dexter Tortoriello was hoping for. "The song is about losing someone," he says. "Literally, it's about losing someone to radiation poisoning after a nuclear disaster, but at its core, it's really about the fragility of love and the powerlessness we all face when sharing our lives with another person. [This] remix creates a darker, lonelier environment."
