The Breeders Reunite for a Sold-Out Show in Brooklyn

On Friday night the Breeders celebrated the 20th anniversary of the breakthrough album Last Splash. It was also the kickoff date for their 10-gig North American reunion tour. As front woman Kim Deal told MTV News, the road to a full tour started out as a casual conversation between her and her sister, Breeders guitarist Kelley Deal. They wondered, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we could do some shows?” Turns out, a lot of people thought it was cool — their show at Brooklyn’s Bell House sold out in two minutes.
