During our Live in NYC CMJ showcase this past October, the Brooklyn rapper encapsulated his entire comeup while performing his breakout single "Huzzah." "When I made that song, I was making $8 an hour, I was working 12 hours a day," he told the Studio at Webster Hall crowd. “I came from the bottom … so when this song drops, I need some motherfucking love in this building." It was a welcome moment of perspective, and it made partying with him that much sweeter.
