If you’re still looking for last-minute Halloween costume inspiration, there’s plenty of it to behold in Kate Nash’s video for her new single “Fri-end?” The UK songstress has her fangs out in the Buffy-inspired clip, knocking back blood shots with her gauze-wrapped “mummy,” taunting the man (and possibly ex-lover) chained to her basement floor, and line-dancing with a pub full of sloshed werewolves, witches and zombies. Nash’s distressed vampire persona works well here sonically, too, since the hard-charging jangle-pop cut tells of unrequited love. The song is slated to appear on a currently-untitled upcoming EP, which will be her first set new material since 2010's My Best Friend Is You.
