God Mode Label Shows Off Their New, Noisy Roster of Bands

God Mode, a label started by Mr. Dream's Nick Sylvester and music manager Talya Elitzer, threw an unofficial, one-day-early (so probably not at all related) CMJ party last night, showcasing their growing stable of noisy, likeminded bands. The party was in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and like most shows in Bushwick, it required a last-minute venue change, from Delinquency (who had to move all their CMJ-related shows this week while they work out the kinks) to XPO 929. Luckily, God Mode's musicians seem to share one important their ability to sound way bigger than the space they're playing in, no matter the venue or band size.

Despite coming straight from spending the night in the St. Paul airport, photographer Chona Kasinger was able to catch the night's first three bands: Fasano (whose recent LP was produced by Sylvester and Matt Lemay), Alan Watts and YVETTE. Check out photos below:
