Kim Dotcom and the E Street Band

Kim Dotcom is the mega-sized ex-CEO of Megaupload, a file sharing site that was taken down by the U.S. Justice Department in January for facilitating massive online piracy. Currently embroiled in that legal battle, Dotcom has shown plenty of fortitude. He still has plans to launch Megabox this year, a music distribution model that purportedly would allow musicians to give their music directly to fans and keep 90% of the revenue, cutting labels completely out of the equation. It's a model Kim probably envisioned for himself; once he entered the public spotlight, we learned quickly that he has plans to release an album of his own. Jake Fogelnest, however, thinks Kim should consider linking up with a Boss of a different kind:
