Liars and Oneohtrix Point Never Play With Ambience at Webster Hall

Ambient art rock was front and center at New York's Webster Hall last night. Electronic musician Oneohtrix Point Never opened the show and played a chilled-out set, proving New Yorkers with much needed relief from the heatwave that's currently engulfed the city. Liars headlined the night, supporting their Die Antwoord hair-inspired album WIXIW. The trio played with tempos and song structures throughout the evening, giving the crowd a unsettled feeling throughout their set. Which is a pretty Liars thing to do.
