In one grand, puppet-themed gesture, Mastodon have returned in awesome fashion.

In a new video for "Deathbound," a reject from 2009's Crack the Skye, Mr. Rogers stand-in/drummer Brann Dailor introduces us to the world of Magicland, what layeth just beyond the tunnel of his choo-choo train. Sadly, Magicland is having a bit of an oh-so-adorable, ultraviolent societal meltdown due to the solar eclipse and the full-bore mayhem coming through their PA system. Produced by Georgians Authority Films (who have worked with them on their videos for "Blood and Thunder" and "Seabeast") we find that for an outtake from the wildly proggy and polarizing Skye, "Deathbed" is incredibly fast and brutal. Just like puppet destruction. [Watch via Adult Swim.]
