While we're a bit sad that Animal Collective fans didn’t win the award for Best Fan Forum, the winners of MTV's first O Music Awards -- streamed live from Las Vegas on Thursday night -- all embodied the concept: The digital music space is open as much as it is ongoing, and ever-evolving.  Here’s a roundup of OMA winners announced throughout this week.

Aquarium Drunkard Won for Best Independent Music Blog.  [O Music Awards]

Pandora won for Best Music Discovery Service. [O Music Awards]

Lady Gaga won two OMA’s, for Must Follow Artist on Twitter and Innovative Artist. [MTV]

The ode to Nicki Minaj chewing gum won for Best Animated GIF. [O Music Awards]

In the Best Tweet category, Kanye West edged out, well, himself, with this brilliant statement: “I hate when I’m on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle.” [O Music Awards]

Chiddy of Chiddy Bang set a new Guiness World Record for longest Freestyle, clocking in at nine hours, 18 minutes and 22 seconds. Congrats! [MTV]

Coming later today: The O Music Awards for Best iTunes LP and Best Remix.
