Let it be known that, as of Tuesday (Dec. 15), the most vital debate Ariana Grande has ever been involved with is NOT DonutGate 2015 — it’s the plaguing “Star Wars” question: “Who shot first: Han Solo or Greedo?”

See, the “Focus” singer is much more than just a pretty-faced power belter: She’s a tride-and-true “Star Wars” nerd (just see her galactic-inspired “Break Free” video and its collection of sci-fi references for proof). So in celebration of “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens,” Ari decided to channel her inner “Boun T. Hunter” (get it?!) for a short, sassy parody clip in which she proves her expertise.

Sporting a look similar to her “Break Free” ensemble (those go-go boots!), Ari hangs out in an intergalactic cantina with a couple of alien pals who start debating the movie mystery. “Han shot, Greedo died; end of story,” she impatiently argues, adopting a traditionalist view on the matter at hand. But in the end, it doesn’t really matter, because she puts the debate to a deadly conclusion by terminating her alien foes. So long, suckers.

Ari’s opinion is great and all, but we at MTV did one better by asking the new “Star Wars” cast (including Harrison Ford himself!) to weigh in on the debate. Check out what they had to say below.
