As you probably are aware, "STAR WARS" is on its way. It'll be in theaters on December 18 and, well, in order to celebrate appropriately, we're going to step up our typical movie-going look. Luckily, makeup artist Pat McGrath has released six makeup looks inspired by "STAR WARS" using COVERGIRL's limited edition makeup collection, which means we don't have to search far for inspiration—her Chrome Captain look is the perfect choice for fans of the Dark Side.
Though we are not makeup experts like Pat McGrath, achieving the smoky, silvery look is easy thanks to COVERGIRL's STAR WARS Limited Edition Collection—here's how to get the everyday version of it for yourself.
Cream eye shadowMTV
Start by patting COVERGIRL Bombshell ShineShadow by LashBlast in Ice Queen across your lids using a brush or your finger.
Next, drag COVERGIRL Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner across your lash line—it doesn't need to be perfect, so don't worry.
Brush it outMTV
To create the smoky eye, use a brush to fan out the liner.
Lower eye shadowMTV
To make the eye even smokier, apply a dark shadow like COVERGIRL Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Charcoal along your lower lash line using a brush.
Then, apply COVERGIRL Dark Side STAR WARS Limited Edition Super Sizer Mascara on your top and bottom lashes. There are ten collectible STAR WARS mascara tubes available, and each comes decked out with a quote from "STAR WARS," so keep your eyes peeled for any you don't have yet.
Finally, swipe on COVERGIRL STAR WARS Limited Edition Colorlicious Lipstick in Silver. It adds the perfect layer of shimmer to complete the look.
You're done! Now it's time to impress everyone at your screening with your Dark Side skills.
