Actress Candy Clark’s Chilling ‘Amityville 3D’ Story

In the clip, Clark reveals how the “freeze” sequence was created in 1983’s “Amityville 3D.” The third film in the series, “3D” was directed by Richard Fleischer, who also directed “Conan the Destroyer,” “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” and “The Jazz Singer” (he had a very varied career).

The film sees a reporter moving into the legendarily haunted house in order to disprove its supernatural reputation. Unfortunately, he learns that the old place has a little demon problem down in the basement.

Shout! Factory’s “Amityville Horror Trilogy” contains “Amityville 3D” as well as 1979’s “Amityville Horror” and 1982’s “Amityville II: The Possession.” You can find the bonus features for the October 1st release below:
