Ben Affleck As Batman: The Internet Reacts To 'Batfleck' (Predictably)



The Internet's collective reaction to the announcement that Ben Affleck would be the new Batman in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" followup was met with the kind of contemplative, wait-and-see attitude we've all come to know and love from around the web.

Of course, what I really mean is that people lost their collective junk, as though "Gigli" had just come out last year and the actor hadn't distinguished himself with excellent work in front of and behind the camera since he was on the front of the tabloids. But not every reaction in the meme-worthy "Batfleck" blowup was immediately depressing. Some were actually pretty funny and clever.
