Kristen Bell On 'Frozen' And Disney Gals At D23 Expo

by Alison H. Mayer

We had a chance to catch up with Kristen Bell at Disney's D23 Expo, and she had quite a bit to say about her role in Disney's upcoming animated feature 'Frozen'! Check out the interview below:

Watch: Kristen Bell Chats 'Frozen' At D23

Bell gushes about the film incessantly; even though she "always loved Disney animation", she feels as though the girls in 'Frozen' are more relatable than Disney women of yore. "There's something about the females that was unattainable to me" says Bell. "Their posture was too good; they were too well spoken. I feel like I really made this girl much more relatable and weirder and scrappier and more excitable and more awkward and I'm really proud of that."

Well, weird, scrappy, and female or not, we're super stoked to see this film, which also stars Firefly's (squee!) Alan Tudyk and Idina Menzel as Bell's problem-child sister Elsa. 'Frozen' hits theaters November 27th--be sure to check it out then!
