SDCC 2013: The Best Modes Of Transportation For Getting Around The Con

By Karen Yossman

Already fed up of traversing your way through downtown San Diego to the convention center? If so, here are some alternative methods of getting around San Diego Comic-Con.

Kick-Ass 2 Bus

Kick Ass 2 Bus

Kick traffic's ass in this fully-wrapped bus. Disclaimer: it won't actually get you to the convention center any faster than a regular bus but hey, at least it looks cool.

If there's something strange in the neighborhood it's probably because around 130,000 people a day have descended on the city. In costume. Still, there's no one better to call for a ride to the con than these guys.

The Mystery Machine

Mystery Machine

Not only is the Mystery Machine great for getting you places, it can also double as overnight accommodation. Just don't go around unmasking people in it. Not cool.

Pirate Ship

Assassin's Creed Pirate Ship

In honor of Assassin's Creed IV, Ubisoft rocked up to the con in a pirate ship. Let's just hope the game's not rated "arrr!".

Hello Kitty Mobile

Hello Kitty Truck

If you can handle driving around in a vehicle this sweet without getting diabetes, this is the ride for you. Bonus: it also blares music and has a super kawaii driver.

Wreck-it Ralph Racing Kart

Wreck it Ralph Kart

Equally as cute is this freshly-baked racing kart. As Vanellope herself might have said, “it's ADORABLE.”

Archer Rickshaw

Archer Rickshaw

It doesn't get much classier than this so sit back and enjoy the ride with Sterling Archer on your shoulder and a martini in hand. Beverage not included.

Agents of SHIELD Tram

Agents of SHIELD Tram

This tram is brought to you courtesy of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. And it looks AWESOME. That is all.
