Richards, who played the street-smart monster hunter Gunn in “Angel,” doesn’t hold out a lot of hope for a resurrection of the vampire-with-a-soul series. As he rightly points out, creator Joss Whedon is kind of up to his eyeballs in a certain comic book cinematic and television universe. Besides, “Angel” had one of the most satisfying series conclusions in recent memory.
