'Larfleeze' #1 First Look Gives The Cult Lantern His Moment In The Sun

Back in March, we exclusively announced that "Green Lantern's" resident dog/wolf/thing was set to get his own ongoing series. In the announcement, "Larfleeze" writer Keith Giffen told us what we could expect from the series:

How about six new, cosmic villains in the first twelve months? Stories that actually... gasp... end!? Great art courtesy of a creator at his peak (Sorry, Scott, it's all downhill from here) and stories chock full of sense of wonder from the second crankiest man in comics (Hi, Greg!). Hell... I might even buy it!

Now we've got our first look some of the art from artist Scott Kollins courtesy of DC Comics!

About "Larfleeze" #1, DC says:

Larfleeze, the breakout character from BLACKEST NIGHT, last seen in the pages of THRESHOLD, is back in his own solo, ongoing series—and he’s not sharing it with anyone! In his debut solo adventure, Larfleeze meets Laord of the Hunt, a pan-dimensional cosmic entity that believes all living things are prey—and he’s out to turn the universe into his own private hunting reserve! And the only thing worse than Laord is the deadly beings he can summon!

"Larfleeze" #1 is out on June 26.
