Chris Evans Is Stylishly Grizzled In This Character Poster For Bong Joon-ho ‘Snowpiercer’

See the “Captain America” star alongside Tilda Swinton, and the great Song Kang-ho in this collection character posters from the upcoming sci-fi, English-language debut of Bong Joon-ho (“The Host,” “Memories of Murder”).

Fact: “Memories of Murder” is one of the great crime films of the last decade and “The Host” is the most fun I’ve had with a giant monster movie in a long, long time. So putting those films’ writer-director in charge of an international cast that includes Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, and Octavia Spencer, and I’m down.

According to THR, the film “is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer — a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine.” The film is based on “Le Transperceneige,” the French-language OGN from Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette that sees class warfare set to break out among the underclass restricted to the back of the train and the wealthy inhabitants of the front.

THR has the full gallery of character posters for the film, which you can check out here.
