Exclusive: See A Clip From Korean Action Fantasy 'Woochi: The Demon Slayer'

Woochi: The Demon Slayer Clip

Monks and monsters are what you get in this clip from the Shout! Factory release of the latest hometown hit from director Choi Dong-Hoon.

"Woochi" is the latest film from "Tazza: The High Rollers" director Choi Dong-Hoon, whose films you should definitely keep an eye on, if only for the casts he's able to assemble.

From the official synopsis:

Jeon Woo-chi, an undisciplined, womanizing wizard unjustly accused of the death of his master, is trapped inside an ancient scroll until he is set free in 2009 by the wizards that imprisoned him to help fight against evil goblins that have taken over present-day Korea. The only problem is that Woo-chi is more interested in his new modern home – and the women of Korea – than becoming a hero. Will he be the savior of mankind?

Woochi/Woo-chi is played by Dong-won Kang, the villain from the very good supernatural thriller that's not what the name would imply "Haunters," with "The Chaser" and "The Yellow Sea" star Kim Yun-Seok playing the heavy Hwa-Dam.

"Woochi: The Demon Slayer" is available on DVD and Blu-ray today.
