Wave Of 'Dragon Ball Z' Energy Attacks Sweeping Japan

Behold, the next Internet thing!

"Makankosappo" is the latest craze sweeping Japan's young female population. Very clever Photos of teens pretending to launch massive "Dragon Ball Z" energy attacks have been popping up with startling frequency. Makankosappo is named for "Dragon Ball" villain Piccolo's "Demonic Piercing Light Murder Gun" attack. As you can see, the girls in the center of the image is sending a shockwave of energy, sending her friends flying through the air. No word yet on how long it takes to charge up for each attack, but knowing "Dragon Ball" it took months, maybe years to prep for each photo.

The young ladies are also re-enacting Goku's Kamehameha attack a.k.a. the "Turtle Devastation Wave" or "Turtle Destruction Wave."
