First Official Still Shows The 'Zombieland' Web Series Cast Is Ready For Their Closeup

Sure, it's not Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and company, but the four leads in the Amazon web series "Zombieland" make fine replacements for their big screen counterparts in this first official still.

Amazon just gave the greenlight to the pilot for this adaptation of "Gangster Squad" director Ruben Fleischer's zombie comedy with original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick onboard if it goes to series and "Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil" director Eli Craig helming the pilot. Of course, going from a decent-sized budget film where most of the principals have gone on to do bigger things, Amazon has had to recast, with the new quartet of Little Rock (Izabela Vidovic), Tallahassee (Kirk Ward), Wichita (Maiara Walsh), and Columbus (Tyler Ross) replacing Abigail Breslin, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Jesse Eisenberg.

Amazon's plan is to place the pilot online, allowing viewers to determine whether it should go to a complete series.
