‘Arrow’s’ World Gets A Little Bigger With Added Series Regulars

By Kendra Beltran

“Arrow’s” Oliver Queen might have screwed things over with his best pal Tommy, but no worries: he’s getting more friends come the second season. As reported on MTV Splashpage, Colton Haynes’s Roy Harper, Emily Bett Rickards’ Felicity Smoak and Manu Bennett’s Slade Wilson all getting more screen time in Starling City and the island.

They’ve all been bumped up on “Arrow” from “recurring” to “series regular,” so expect more plot lines to involve these three. It’ll be interesting to see how the relationships develop between Oliver, Roy and Felicity. Ever wonder if Felicity will get out of the lair and have some fun of her own? Nah, seems like she likes it in there with her techy stuff!

The one I’m more focused on is Slade. With being bumped up to a regular face, will that only mean more flashbacks to the island, or will he finally show up in the present day? I know, I know, the idea is causing my head to spin around from possibilities. This is where you have to wonder how much of the comic book realm will play out for these characters on the show.

One thing I want to root for is a fling between Roy and Felicity. Come on, that’s what you wanted as soon as you read that too!
