Brian K. Vaughan And Marcos Martin Tackle Privacy In 'The Private Eye'

Yesterday we ran a teaser image from Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin's mysterious new project that seemingly centered around the world of social media. Now we have the official word from Vaughan on "The Private Eye," he, Marcos and colorist Muntsa Vicente's DRM-free, pay what you want new series.

Vaughan says:

It's just old-school comics, words and pictures, available in multiple formats and languages, yours to own forever, all DRM-free, whatever the hell that means, for any price you think is fair. Sorry, no plans for it to ever be in print.

100% of anything you pay stays with the creators (us!), and helps fund the rest of a planned 10-issue series that Marcos and I are very proud of, a mystery set in our future, when everyone will have a secret identity.

No powers, but lots of masks. And dig those colors by Muntsa...

According to the official site, "The Private Eye" is:

Set in a future where privacy is considered a sacred right and everyone has a secret identity, The Private Eye is a serialized sci-fi detective story for mature readers.
