Sure, some of your favorite shows on Cartoon Network are winding down soon (ahem, “Young Justice”), but that doesn’t mean DC still won’t be putting out new series. Take “Teen Titans Go!” which the network is describing as a “reimagining” of the original anime-inspired half-hour series, and it’s coming to Cartoon Network at the end of April.
The new series features the return of voice actors Scott Menville (Robin), Hynden Walch (Starfire), Tara Strong (Raven), Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), and Khary Payton (Cyborg), and makes its debut on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 P.M. before heading to its regular slot on Saturday, April 23 at 10:30 A.M. as part of the DC Nation block.
From Cartoon Network:
The character-driven comedy series focuses on the funny that happens in between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The comedic mayhem of the animated series is punctuated by pranks and the occasional need to fight crime, but it will also deal with the everyday issues of adolescence. With epic staring contests to decide who does the laundry, a series of quests and battles to construct the perfect sandwich or fighting crime in Jump City, one thing is for sure, these Titans will always be ready for an adventure inside the house and out.
Now that “Teen Titans Go!” is locked down, we only have to wait for details for “Beware the Batman” which, last I heard, was undergoing some retooling in the wake of last year’s shootings in Aurora.
