Batman's True Identity Revealed

In follow-up to yesterday's story: Stan Worby, 39 has been revealed to the be the real-life Batman who hauled a criminal into a Bradford police station in the United Kingdom after being "godsmacked" by becoming an Internet celeb who's fame could only rival those screaming goats and the Miss Delaware Teen porn star.

Worby, a Chinese takeout driver, brought Danny Frayne, 27 in on charges of handling stolen goods and declared, "I’ve caught this one for you."

Worby said he meant the stunt as a joke. He bought the costume, along with a Robin one for a friend, to wear to a soccer game at Wembley Stadium. When he returned from the game Frayne, an old friend, contacted Worby to escort him to police station so he could turn himself in. Worby couldn't resist the urge to show up in full Bat-regalia. He told The Telegraph:

I got a call from Danny whilst I was at Wembley and he said, 'can you run me to the cop station?' But as I was in London I couldn't.

"I told him as soon as I was home I would run him to Bradford central police station. We got back about 1am, and I picked Danny up in a minibus at 1.30am.

"I'd had a lot to drink and it was a great day out - I got some strange looks when I got to the cop station though. One policeman looked at me and just laughed.

"I said to the policeman, ‘I deserve a medal, I'm a caped crusader’.

According to The Telegraph, police have no intention of charging Worby with anything relating to Frayne's alleged crime.
