Taissa Farmiga and Frances Conroy Returning For 'American Horror Story' Season 3

TV Line is reporting that the two actresses will be returning to the present day-set third season of the FX series "American Horror Story" .

This makes it a three-peat for Conroy, who had a pair of small but important roles in the recently-concluded "American Horror Story: Asylum," where she played both the Angel of Death and a Southie lady gang boss, while in season one she played the maid to the Harmon family. Farmiga played the Harmon's only daughter, Violet, who wasn't quite able to escape her time in the haunted Los Angeles "Murder House."

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy recently tweeted that the two actresses were confirmed to return to the series alongside stars Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Jessica Lange.

Season three will take place in present-day but has been enigmatically been described as "more historical in nature." Does that mean it'll be set in a museum?
