Titan Comics Set To Showcase Creator-Owned Work As Well As Old Favories

By Danica Davidson

Titan Publishing came into the New Year with announcements about its new imprint, Titan Comics. The first titles will launch in July and Titan has promised to both publish new works and re-release old favorites.

The company has announced the first titles it’ll be releasing: “The First Kingdom” by Jack Katz; “Chronos Commandos: Dawn Patrol” by Stuart Jennett; “Numbercruncher” by Si Spurrier and P.J. Holden; “Ring of Roses” by Das Petrou and John Watkiss; and “Thrud The Barbarian” by Carl Critchlow.

More titles will be released shortly after this, including “Gravestown” by Roger Gibson and Vince Danks. “Surface Tension” by Jay Gunn will be out in September and “Death Sentence” by Monty Nero and Mike Dowling follows in October.

While a number of established writers have already been announced as being part of the imprint, Titan says it’s searching for new voices and welcomes submissions on its website. It also stresses the fact that it is publishing creator-owned material. Said  Titan Comics publisher Nick Landau: “We’re searching out fantastic new voices and astonishing new artists, and helping them bring their dream projects to fruition – as well as remaining a world-leader in the field of classic comics restoration and republication."
