Watch This Real-Life 'Transformers' Robot In Action

It's never been hard finding "Transformers" toys that you could actually transform, but finding one that makes the transformation at the click of a button? Well, Hasbro would probably freak out if they figured out how to do that. It just so happens Brave Robots already has.

Yep, what you see above is an actual Robot in Disguise, capable of changing from car to robot on command. You can see it in action after the break.

Pretty amazing, isn't it? The 1/12 scale Transform Robot Version 7.2 comes from Brave Robotics of Japan, and apparently it took nearly 10 years to develop. On top of being awesome in every sense of the word, the 'bot is equipped with wireless cameras that can be monitored from other devices like a smartphone or tablet. As I'm sure you noticed in the video, it also has the ability to fire off its hands like little plastic fist missiles. The only question that remains is whether or not this bad machine will be joining forces with the Autobots or Decepticons.

If you want more info on this spectacular invention, there's an article on Wired Japan written by Francesco Fondi, who was lucky enough to see the Transform Robot v7.2 in action at the recent Maker Faire Tokyo.
