Here's Your First Look At The 'Doctor Who Christmas Special'

I hate Christmas now...Christmas is not cool.

Is The Doctor Ebenezer Scrooge in the new "Doctor Who Christmas Special"? We know he can be pretty grumpy. Not sure. What we do know is that the Steven Moffat-scripted special will involve our Silurian pal Madame Vastra and her Jenny. The special will also feature The Doctor's first official team-up with new companion Oswin, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.

The "Doctor Who Christmas Special" premieres on December 25 at 9pm ET on BBC America.

In other "Who" news, "Torchwood's" John Barrowman will join pop culture correspondent Asha Leo to countdown, according to an official press release, "Top Five Companions, Top Five Scariest Moments, Top Five Best Monsters, Top Five Guest Stars and Top Five Things You’ll Only See on Doctor Who." Based on votes from BBCAmerica.com readers. That special will air Friday, December 21 at 10:00pm ET.
