Finding Love After Death In The 'Warm Bodies' Trailer

What's a dead boy to do when he's in love? That's the premise of "50/50" director's romantic zombie comedy "Warm Bodies" which features "X-Men: First Class" star Nicholas Hoult and "I Am Number Four" actress Teresa Palmer.

Sure, the zombie craze has played out to a ridiculous degree (we didn't even get a zombie "Gangnam Style" video, did we?), but Levin's premise--about a living dead boy (Hoult) who falls in love with a human survivor (Palmer)--admittedly has some charm to it. Plus, Levine knows characters and bittersweet romance (I'm basing this solely on a years-ago viewing of "The Wackness"), and Hoult has been pretty good in just about every role of his still young career.

From the official synopsis:

A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human - setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

"Warm Bodies" will be in theaters on February 1st, just in time for Valentine's Day.
