Historical Americans Riding LEGO Dinosaurs, What Could Be Better?

America’s history is filled with great men who accomplished great things. But all of the historical figures that come to mind when we think back on our nation’s past have one thing in common — they never rode (Lego) dinosaurs into the sunset. That is, of course, until now.

These immensely creative builds come from Andrew, a member of the Brothers-Brick team. He’s doesn’t offer much of an explanation as to where his inspiration came from but, as he notes in his recent blog post, the historical creations pretty much speak for themselves.

If you hadn’t guessed already, the photo seen above features Abraham Lincoln riding a Velociraptor. Next Andrew introduces Benjamin Franklin getting his prehistoric patriotism fix atop a Triceratops.

His third piece in the “Great Leaders on Terrible Lizards” set (arguably the best of all) features none other than George Washington himself proudly straddling the king of dinosaurs, a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

And finally, we’ve got good ol’ Teddy Roosevelt, perched atop a Pterodactyl as it swoops in to protect our National Parks system.

While giant Star Wars and Firefly LEGO creations are among some of our favorite builds, it’s the originality of creations such as this that make the LEGO community so much fun. Way to go, Andrew. You’ve created something truly awesome and memorable.
