ITEM! No Davies Graphic Novel For Fiftieth Anniversary

According to former Who show-runner Russell T. Davies, he offered to write and draw a Doctor Who graphic novel for the 50th Anniversary... And they said no! “Don’t ask me about the 50th anniversary [in November 2013], because it’s nothing to do with me,” said Davies. “I’m just a happy viewer now. This’ll teach me though – I did ask BBC Books if they fancied a graphic novel, and they went, ‘No’. I sat here thinking, I could write a graphic novel, I could even draw the graphic novel, that’d be brilliant… No. There we are then, I tried.”

ITEM! IDW Publishes 12 Part Comic Series

...On the other hand, IDW is publishing a 12-Part series celebrating the 50th Anniversary, with each issue focusing on one of the Doctors. And for the twelfth? Stay tuned...

ITEM! John Simm Coming Back As The Master? Nope.

The Whovian half of the Internet briefly exploded when actor John Simm stated his plans to return as big bad guy The Master. Turns out, the news of his return was greatly exaggerated, and Simm will NOT be coming back... Though we woudn't mind if he did. Just saying.
