Apple is holding a live event today at the California Theatre in San Jose where many believe a smaller version of the iPad will be revealed for the first time. While we’d all love to be there, most of obviously we be able to make it. Thankfully, Apple is making sure all of their customers are able to tune in by setting up a livestream of the event at 1 pm ET!
Apple announced the livestream on their website and though details are sparse, many suspect Apple will reveal an “iPad mini” featuring a smaller, 7.85-inch screen. There’s also talk that Apple may introduce several new Mac computers, including a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina display.
If you want to watch the event live you’ll need to do it through an Apple device. Mac users will need to be running Safari on Mac OS X v10.6 or later. If you want to watch the event through your iPhone of iPad you’ll need to be running iOS 4.2 or later and Apple TV users will need either a third or fourth generation device. If you don’t have an Apple device you’re out of luck.
