NYCC 2012: Dark Horse Announces ‘Mass Effect’ Library Edition

Dark Horse and Bioware hope you’re ready for a deep dive into the Mass Effect universe with their New York Comic Con announcement of a 2013 collection bringing together the previous miniseries, shorts, and digital comics in a hardcover library edition.

The May 22 release will include the four previously-released miniseries Redemption, Evolution, Invasion, and Homeworlds, along with the digital comics from MySpace Dark Horse Presents, USA Today, and from Dark Horse’s own digital store. The press release also says the volume will include supplemental content like an exclusive sketchbook with previously unreleased art.

Mass Effect game writers/narrative designers like Mac Walters have been fixtures in Dark Horse’s comics based on the series, and they’ll also be joining artists from the individual books in annotating the collection.
