Exclusive: ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2’ Trailer

Exclusive: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 Trailer

Back in July, we exclusively premiered the trailer for the DC Universe animated feature “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1” and it was pretty freakin’ awesome. Well now, we’re unleashing the exclusive first look at “The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2” trailer and guess what? It’s pretty freakin’ awesome too!

As I’m sure you’ve seen from the video above, this sucker is chocked full of Supes on Bats fisticuffs, gun-toting Dark Knight action and plenty of teasing Joker hijinx. This trailer is also very cool because it features our first taste of “Lost” star Michael Emerson’s take on the Clown Prince of Crime, and in my humble opinion, he sounds pretty dang good.

“Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2” will have a heavy presence at New York Comic Con, showing footage and hosting a panel featuring executive producer Bruce Timm, dialogue/casting director Andrea Romano and special guests on Saturday, October 13 from 12:15-1:15 p.m. in the IGN Theater at the Jacob Javitz Center. Also, you’ll have a chance to get Timm and Romano’s autographs following the panel at 2:00pm in the DC booth on the con floor.

But that’s not all, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will debut the one-hour documentary “The Batmobile,” on Friday, October 12 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the IGN Theater. According to the official press release, “The Batmobile” is:

The film gives a riveting, in-depth examination of the Batmobile – from the impressive history of all of the vehicles to the construction of this iconic character. The documentary features a distinguished array of Batman experts and filmmakers including Adam West; George Barris, designer of the famed 1966 Batmobile; respected producer/author Michael Uslan (“The Boy Who Loved Batman”); Andy Smith, builder of the modern-day Dark Knight “Tumblers”; Tim Burton, Director of Batman (1989) & Batman Returns; Joel Schumacher, Director of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin; Christian Bale; and Christopher Nolan, Director of The Dark Knight Trilogy. “The Batmobile” documentary is directed by Roko Belic and produced by Tara Tremaine for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

Make sure you stick with MTV Geek all weekend as will be coming at you LIVE from New York Comic Con!
