Check Out This ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ 3D Perspective Street Art!

Did you watch the series premiere of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” on Nickelodeon over the weekend? I did, and I personally though it was pretty awesome. You know what else is awesome? This crazy TMNT perspective street art that someone decorated the sidewalk with — Cowabunga dudes!

We’re not entirely sure who the awesome folks behind this work are, but it was apparently painted on the South Bank in London in celebration of the new show, before it aired. I especially like how Raphael and Leonardo appear to be climbing out while Michelangelo, being his ridiculous self, has decided to go for a slimy ride through the sewer system.

For those of you who haven’t yet, you should definitely check out the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon. Especially if, like me, you grew up with the animated Turtles and have been waiting for them to make an honorable return. Though I was initially skeptical about their return, the new series is surprisingly good. I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of the new theme song, but the new show is all about the ooze and Shredder is already on his way!

Here’s the trailer (it doesn’t do it justice):
