What's New With Doctor Who: A Pond Farewell, More On Peter Jackson, And The Who-rk-out

Welcome to our time-traveling, space-warping round up of all the news we could find about the world’s most popular Timelord, Doctor Who. And there’s a ton of news to get through because, remember: this article is bigger on the inside.

ITEM! 'Power Of Three' Fizzles

We were impressed by the first two acts of this week's episode. Act three? Not so much. You can check out the full recap here.

ITEM! Are We Watching This Season Out Of Order?

We won't really know until this Saturday, and maybe not even then... But is there more going on this season than we suspect? And have we already said goodbye to the Ponds? An eagle-eyed viewer noticed a key point in 'The Power of Three': the episode two weeks ago - 'A Town Called Mercy' - actually takes place during the montage sequence where the Ponds and the Doctor traveled to various locales. Which means, depending on what happens this weekend, maybe the whole season has been out of order? Which also means we may have to revise our narrative arc for the half series? Oh, and what if 'Angels in Manhattan' actually takes place in that montage, too? So we've already said goodbye to the Ponds? TIME TRAVEL! [Shakes fist]

ITEM! Peter Jackson Directing Doctor Who?

Director Peter Jackson wants to do it. Matt Smith wants to do it. And in a new wrinkle, writer Neil Cross and producer Caro Skinner want to do it... Except it may be too expensive. Still, it seems that the Who team is exploring the possibility, so stay tuned...

ITEM! USA! USA!

Before you say goodbye to The Ponds this Saturday, you can say hello to a new Doctor Who special. The best part about this trailer? The Doctor's "many" forays into the United States number about, oh, say, three. [Note: not the Power of Three.]

COFFEE! With An Extra Shot Of TARDIS

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are ALWAYS back when you have a time machine.

ITEM! Ride In These Daleks!

We actually reported on the prototype of these about a year ago, but now they're reality: your kids can ride in a Dalek. Perfect for your Oswin Oswald cosplay!

CAKE! Dinosaurs... On A Wedding Cake

If only we had a cup of coffee to go with this amazing wedding cake...

EXERCISE! The Doctor Who Work-Out Is Mostly Running

We'll add one: every time a villain is all the same thing saying the same thing at the same time, turn off the television.
