Brainwave Reading Kitten Tail Wags When You're Happy!

Neurowear's Necomimi ears – the cat-like ears that respond to your your brainwaves and let everyone around you know how you're feeling – have become a huge hit. But shouldn't a person with ears like that have a tail to match? Apparently we're not the only ones who think so, as Neurowear recently revealed "Shippo" – a little kitten tail that responds to brain activity in much the same way.

The tail works just like the Necomimi ears – you wear a headset and the tail reacts to your brainwaves accordingly by wagging when your happy or drooping when you're frightened. However, it also adds a social media component that allows you to broadcast your location through Facebook and Twitter using a specific app. If that's not enough, the app will also let you share the mood recorded by the tail when you were in that location.

As of right now the Shippo tail is only in the prototype stages, but I'm sure it won't be too long before furry appendage is up for grabs on their website. Until then, you can get an idea for how the new gadget and the social media features work by checking out the promo video below.
